Butterflies in the Air

I stepped outside to absorb the heat of the sun around 11:30 AM. In less than two minutes I counted a dozen monarch butterflies, all headed southwest in a light breeze.

Coming back in I read an email from my aunt in Massachusetts saying more or less the same thing - and alerting me to watch for migrating nighthawks as well, by day.
